Care Instructions

ALPACA WOOL KNITS ARE VERY EASY TO CARE BUT WASHING IN MACHINE WE DO NOT RECOMMEND.

From the start Wølmark products do not need lot of care because alpaca wool is as its own really repellent for dirt and smells. Usually just a refreshing outside will do.

Our product especially sweaters only needs washing one or two times per year. Every time you wash your knit it will weaken the wool.

If there is a stain in the product which doesn't go away with a wet towel or other tool it is time for a hand wash. If the stain doesn't still go away it is time to take it to the professional wash.

Follow our instruction of washing it by hand.

WASHING IT BY HAND

WASHING MACHINE

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND TO WASH THESE PRODUCTS IN WASHING MACHINE.

We also know that there is lot of people who feel the urge to wash these in the machine. We want to state very clearly that if you wash these in the machine it is in your own risk.  This in mind we like to offer the less risky washing style with a machine.

Clean your machine really really good.

Put the product in a washing bag.

Most of the machine has own wool program. That includes short program with a lot of water. Remember to wash it as cold water as you can.  Over 30°C water can harm or destroy your product!

Drying should follow the same instructions as in hand washing.
